In Indiana, there is not a lot of scenery for photographers, unless you want a whole lot of corn and a whole lot of fields. When my best friend got engaged last month I started looking around for a cool place to shoot. After hours of researching, I came across Cataract Falls in Spencer, IN. The drive wasn’t all that bad as we ventured onto I70, though they were coming from Anderson so this was quite the haul for them. Once we got there it was like we were in a whole different country/atmosphere. I kept telling them time and time again “I feel like Indiana Jones on the quest for a long-lost treasure” hahaha. They were troopers, because I made them climb up and down cliffs, and on huge logs and rocks in order to get the perfect shot. It was only an added bonus that they brought their precious little boy, Cash, along to play in the waterfall (his words not mine). The photos turned out amazing and I am glad I got to capture these moments with my best friend and her soon-to-be husband. Congrats again Lacey & Zach!
* Always have the camera ready, because you never know what your clients might do hahaha.
* On Pinterest they make it look so easy, but in fact most of the time it's an epic fail hahaha.
